Thanks for the info. That's interesting about the powered up circuits corroding. I presume you mean the contacts in the receptacle by the hitch will corrode more readily when powered up. Here all along I thought it was salt spray making it's way into the connector. I always put a big glob of vaseline or silicone grease into my trailer plug-in cap for the winter anyway.

My FX4 came with spares in the Drivers side Door along with a pig tail for a under dash brake control. I had the brake control added in with the sale and the truck had a tow package so the brake control had duplicates that came with it. So you might have gotten spares also.
