I just updated my 2010 to the last available update version 11X with gracenote which was the 2019 update. I was hoping it would help my truck identify my exact home location. I previously installed the latest updated GPS antenna. After 150.00 update it still shows my address as 1661 NW 26th instead of 1627 NW 26th. Disappointing. You would think it could recalculate the exact address.

What is that, one house off? Depending on a number of circumstances, that could be within the GPS margin of error. It's a function of the number of satellites within line of site (not blocked by buildings, trees, canyon walls, etc), and perhaps map database accuracy, not your nav system.

That would be about 1-1.5 blocks off. That address doesnt exist. 26th st. stops at 1638 until it picks up again about 1/2 mile away. What happens at most intersections is it shows the tip of the arrow about 1/8 inch on the screen away from the turn. It catches up but is always behind when you turn at the next street. Houses are numbered odd on one side and even on the other. So if you subtract my house number from the indicated location it would be 34 divided by 2 so 17 houses off on my side of the street.

Strange. Maybe a map data issue. Even with my driveway between my house and the neighbor, the truck nav usually shows the correct address at my house when I've looked at it. Fordpass does too.

The interesting thing is when I am parked in my driveway it shows the approximate correct location on the map, but the address is not. Its as if the coordinates are correct or near correct but the address for that coordinate is not.

They will only load on the vehicle they are purchased for, as the installation key is processed for your vin and radio.

I recently purchased a 2012 Honda Odyssey, and it also shows my address the same as my F150, so it is a coordinate vs address that is somehow universally recognized incorrectly. If I try to change it to my correct address it will not take me to the correct location when I tell it to take me home. So both my vehicles officially list my address incorrectly, but the grid coordinate correctly.
