Default Manual Mode

Hey guys new to the forum, I have a 2013 F-150 xlt 5.0 V8 flex fuel. I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced that when you switch to Manual mode your fuel level goes up? It was odd to me. It’s not really a urgent matter because it’s not effecting drivability but as someone new to this vehicle, it’s definitely a cause for concern. I purchased the truck used back in May, everything else is great! Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

Are you sure it wasn't due to driving on a hill?

No, I’ve only done Manual mode maybe 3 times since I’ve purchased it and all at different occasions driving on level ground, and my fuel level goes up about literally 2 gallons.
