Making the transition back to Rubicon
Don't forget a kidney belt, Jeeps will beat the **** out of you. I had one for a while, most fun to drive and beat the hell out of your body vehicle I ever drove.
I'll keep my Ford that at least has some semblance of a decent ride.

I like the Jeep Wranglers as they are probably the only 4x4 vehicles the fed gov't will still allow us to drop the front windshields on, lift off the doors on, and rip off the roof on, all in one fell swoop. Not as off-road capable as they once were, and not nearly as luxurious as my FX4 lux package is... BUT, I tip my hat at Jeep, as they (and the market that supports them) still exhibit some ***** when it comes to making fun 4x4s.

I had a '12 JKU that I was using as my DD. I sold it (traded, but long story) for an 06 Unlimited. Then got an '11 F150 to use as my daily driver. The 06 is only for wheeling now.
With the 5.0, I get better gas mileage than I do in my 06. The '12 was about the same gas mileage as my '11 F150.
Jeep is definitely a better 4x4 though. If I had to give up one, it would be the truck. If I wasn't going to wheel though, the Jeep would be gone. I hope you're planning to wheel the sh#t out of it lol.
