Default Major Snow & Charging Issues

I'm sure this has happened to others so it's more of a FYI than a question. I have 35" BFG AT's on my 2013 5.0 and it absoulty destroys snow, works great, today I was breaking trail in 3+ feet of fresh powder and they truck works amazing except for the alternator crapping out a couple times, with the alternator low in the engine bay it must Ingest so much snow that it will stop charging, or maybe the belt slips a little. Either way my Low battery warning came on a couple times today, I just stopped and let the snow melt out of the engine bay for a few minutes and everything went back to normal.
