Default Lumen Meter Question

Does anyone own a Lumen meter that they would recommend? We are going to do some night testing/ photos with our trucks, and would like to have a quality meter. I have never used one and know a couple members here own them.

We will be testing some "Ebay" light bars vs some of our rigid product and id like as much data as I can get.

I know this may not be the correct section for this post, feel free to move it if needed.

Weird! I was just about to ask the same question as I wanted to put the eBay V's rigid to rest. Haha. I look forward to your test results as I already know the answers!!!

I use the extech hd450 for work. I'm an energy engineer about 75% of my projects are commercial lighting upgrades and retros. I like that I can use it like a data logger and record readings.

It's super easy for anyone to use too.

Bought it at grainger.

Accuracy is 5%-10% depending on output range.

I considered using it to test headlight bulbs in my hd headlights never got around to it.

Forgot to mention, there's a pc interface. I don't use this function but here's a screenshot from the software. I couldn't get my meter to link up.

It is supposed to show realtime meter readings. Would probably be really helpful in measuring the light pattern of the Fixtures you will be testing. So you can map out the light "splash."

Thank you very much! I just ordered that one. Ill be sure to post up all of our results and probably pictures of us doing cool things in the trucks around the end of the month.

Im sure some of my guys here will figure it out. We will have it a week before our trip so they can play with it around the office first. Im sure they will have the lights off and the rigid display lit up messing with that meter.
