Lowering a 4x4. Dumb!

oh look its this thread again.
has anyone else ever noticed that most lowered trucks are usually plain, simple, and clean, while most lifted trucks have gaudy looking wheels that stick out 5" on either side, wreck the paint and just look ridiculous?
if you don't agree with me, well that's because you have a different opinion than I do. oddly enough most people have their own individual opinions and this may occasionally lead them do to things you may not agree with.

I do not plan to put a big lift and want just enough clearance for 35". Trucks too tall are horribad for 4x4 because high center of gravity and are usually mudders or street beasts. To each their own but perception is still higher = better for some reason. We know why....haha

A lift done right will NOT have cheap shocks... Therefore will NOT have a harsh ride...
Cheap shocks (lifted or dropped) will ride like **** because of CHEAP SHOCKS not because it was lifted! And using cheap shocks is NOT a lift done right...

Four points:
1. Obviously people can do as they want with what is rightfully theirs. I perfer trucks in 4x4 meant for mud and off road, and leave the chrome behind.
2. AWD is NOT 4x4. Open center diff is main difference but there are others. Your truck engaged in 4x4 on the street will not act like an AWD car. However, there are some F150s with an AWD system, yes?
2. My opinion is an F150 lowered with an AWD system is best justified when matched to a supercharger putting out some series power. Similar to how Chevy made the last SS Silverado. (I had an '01 Lightning that would kick its butt, but still...)
3. Personally, what bothers me more is the 4x4 trucks with ginormous chrome rims with about 1" of tire that you see on the side of the road with a flat because they ran over an expansion joint that was too much for the tire to take. All that heavy unsprung weights makes for a crappy ride and a helluva lot of stress on the suspension components. This, my friends, is a true waste of 4x4.

I want everyone to take a minute and read that over and over until you realize the major contradiction...
