Lowering a 4x4. Dumb!
I'm not slamming anyone in particular. It is only my opinion, but if you buy a 4wd truck and proceed to LOWER it, you should be castrated. I have no problem with 4x2 owners lifting their truck, nothing wrong with all show, no go. But, I have a special disdain for anyone taking the awesome platform that is the Ford F150 4x4 and shaming it by "slamming" it. If I could, I'd call in A10 support and have your lowered 4x4 strafed...not with you in it. I'm not a monster. Your thoughts on this obvious degradation?

I dont think its a waste at all if thats what the person that owns it likes and wants. A lowered 4x4 is still more practical than a lowered 2wd because it will still be better in the snow than a 2wd. A lowered 4x4 is really no different at that point than an AWD car, do you have issues with those too? Why not have your cake and eat it too? What I think is silly is that you are so put off by someone else having a different idea of vehicle than you do that you felt the need to complain about it on the internet.
I agree to each their own. It really isn't much different than a 2 wheel drive with a super lift. It isn't functional and I would categorize it as a waste of money, but, not my truck, not my money, not my problem. I've got a few buddies with lowered trucks, I think when done right it is pretty nice and pretty freaking fun to scare the sh t out of unsuspecting people driving down the road.
I'm not really a fan of any vehicle with a dropped suspension. When I first bought my Mustang, all the younger guys at work wanted me to drop it three inches. Which I thought was crazy, cause a big sumbish like me made it drop three inches just getting in.....
