Some trucks don't look bad lowered within reason. But never a 4x4. On my dad's FX2 I really want to drop the back end to level it. Lowered looks good to me until the tires have to angle because the truck (or car) is too low.

This entire site is about the good, bad, and indifferent in regards to our trucks. So, the Internet is the perfect place for open discussion.

I dont think its a waste at all if thats what the person that owns it likes and wants. A lowered 4x4 is still more practical than a lowered 2wd because it will still be better in the snow than a 2wd. A lowered 4x4 is really no different at that point than an AWD car, do you have issues with those too? Why not have your cake and eat it too? What I think is silly is that you are so put off by someone else having a different idea of vehicle than you do that you felt the need to complain about it on the internet.

Good point. Hadn't thought about it that way before. And what I don't get is the amount of people complaining on the internet about him complaining on the Internet. Doesn't that seem a bit ironic?

This^^ alot of lowered sport trucks are AWD and most modern 4x4s have the auto awd feature, my trucks 2wd and its lowered and i love it that way, i also have a lifted 97 f150 4x4 and love it that way, if my truck was 4x4 the only reason for me lowering it would be for the awd function i dont really off road i learned my lesson in my 97 that getting muffler deep in mud isnt good for the truck

Nope the internet is for **** and I can prove it. I saw it on the internet. http://youtu.be/YRgNOyCnbqg.

That being said, I am not a fan of lowered trucks at all. I hate to see a 1 ton Dual slammed down and having to crab over things like speed humps that I hit at 30 mph with no problem. Like an earlier poster said though to each their own mine will never be lowered.
