Default low tone exhaust?

hello everyone, I just bought my first ford ever, I got a 2010 f-150 platinum and im loving it so far, my question is, I want to swap the muffler on it. im not looking to change the entire exhaust, I really like the look and placement of my current exhaust and I want something I can hear when I get heavy into the throttle but at cruising speeds I don't want to much dron. I have the 5.4 triton motor. whats yall think?

Magnaflow, the longest model they make that will fit your situation. Another option, delete the resonator and leave stock muffler......but most think that is too soft.

+1 WJA

Magnaflow will be the best. Also, I don't think the 2010's have resonators.

I don't know about anything before 2015; new to Ford, but have had some beautiful sounding GMCs and RAMs.

I have a 4" Gibson Metal Mulisha single cat back on my 09 F150. It has a very nice, low tone. At cruising speed you won't hear it, but if you step on it it barks pretty good. There are a couple videos of the same exhaust on YouTube.

Did you remove the resonator when you added the muffler?
