Default low end torque

drove my buddy's f250 6.2l home from work today. man do i miss that low end torque that i dont have with my 5.0. really got the itch for an ecoboost!!

It's like an addiction. I'm a torque junky. The EB gets me a fix and I don't have to mess with all the extra headaches that come with diesels.

yeah i have been toying with the a powerstroke but dont like the price tag. i didnt realize in stop and go traffic how hard it is to get that 5.0 going. seems like alot of work after driving that 6.2.

You think you're lacking torque? I had a cummins company truck and a vw jetta 1.8T with aftermarket turbo. Both were torque monsters, my jetta had around 350 ft/lbs. Now I drive a 3.7. I do like the mid range power though.

yeah once your going esp. passing at hway speeds it will go pretty good.

Have you done any mods? Not sure how the 5.0 would respond to an intake but on my truck it gave me more low end torque. I was surprised at the difference it made. A tune is next on my list.

i havent. not much in to modding my vehicles. my thought is if i am going to spend money modding i would rather put towards a new one.
