Driving today on the highway about 70 and was making a gradual turn left (sweeping highway turn) and my p/s went out!!! I muscled it back to the shoulder, shut off, waited a few moments, re started and all was good. I have the annoying clunk from the EPAS and now this. What a friction joke. To add salt to the wound the EPAS/rack is on national back order. Zero problems with my 2010 now this crappy steering system in my 11. Fabulous. It took a lot to muscle it off the road, Id be pissed if my wife was driving or any women for that point, gonna be a lot harder for them!

Let us know what the dealership says. How many miles on the truck and any mods to the engine?

Check out my thread called "Ecoboost down". My EPAS has failed too. Truck has been at dealership for close to a month now. You may have a long road of waiting ahead of you so get comfy in the loaner vehicle they hopefully give you!
