Default Loosing Coolant..

So i had the Upper Radiator hose leak problem. I went and bought a new T and a new upper radiator hose and replaced them both. When i removed the T coolant went everywhere as expected. I put it all back together and poured a gallon into the over flow reservoir and left the cap off and let the truck run. I was guessing this was enough to burb the system and get the air out. Put the cap back on and drove it for a few days.. Good news leak is gone from original spot but somehow i am still loosing coolant. I filled it back up again assuming i somehow didn't let all the air out and again now 3 days later i've lost more. No smells, no leaks that i can see, nothing on the driveway anymore after the initial issue. Did I not do something right? I'd find it hard to believe I have another issue its a 2013 V8 with only 50k miles on it. I've had every service done it's been really taken care of. Did I not do something right?

My 5.0 needed a few top-ups of nearly a gallon after a drain and fill, after the initial refill. I think there were just air pockets that didn't purge right away, at the refill. Eventually it stopped drinking coolant after a couple of weeks and daily drive cycles.

Same here. Remember, it's not just the coolant you dumped, it's whatever you lost before that.

I had a bad pressure cap. Took a couple of weeks to normalize the coolant level.
