Was finally able to get glass removed and complete install of rear blinked assemblies plus forward facing assemblies by modifying the reflectors.

Thanks to everyone on this forum and the detailed instructions I went from not having any turn signal assemblies to having both forward/rear facing. Thanks again for everyone taking the time to post instructions plus pictures. Here are some shots of my truck with the new signals.

I figured while I washed the truck, why not post some pictures of it.

Question, Did you have the wiring in the mirror housing? I have the mirrors without reflectors or signals and want to do rear facing but it's not that important of a mod if I have to splice in inside the door panel.

I had to run the wires through the mirror. Very easy and didn't take long. Was hesitant to try the install myself but took my time and did the research here before I did anything. The mirror plugs into a wire harness inside the door and the turn signal wires are rght there. I used a test light to find the right one.

Default Removing rear facing puddle light

Is there a way to remove the rear facing puddle light on the side view mirrors without removing the entire mirror assembly?

I want to turn it red and haven't found a replacement light that fits (if anyone knows of one, that'd be great). My idea to jury rig one is to remove the light and line it with red translucent tape or plastic.

Thanks.
