CAI and exhaust will be more than $500. I'd get the tune first. You can get an SCT tuner and 3 tunes from 5 Star for just over $400.

I'm running the 93 performance tune and it's bad ***

I really don't gas it hard at all. Not sure what the problem is. When I bought the truck it was getting 15.5. After I leveled it and put 33" tires it's dropped as far as 12.9. Seems really low for just having 33's. I know a guy with 35's who claims to get 15. He has exhaust, cold air intake and a programmer set on economy. I don't know if it's really true or not. But I feel like I should be getting at least 14. All of this is in town btw, haven't gone down the interstate more than a few miles since I got new tires

How much more noticible power/mpg's does it give you?

I want to put exhaust mainly to sound a little better, secondly it may slightly increase my mpg's. Problem with the tuner is I have the Allstate drive wise computer plugged in under my steering wheel. I could take it out, my insurance would go up a little bit though... Wish I had two data ports, or an adapter

I've got a 6" lift, 35" tires, and 5 star tunes. I get around 14 mpg as long as I drive sane (otherwise its about 13 to 13.5). I agree 5* has great tunes. You can get some economy tunes that are supposed to help gas mileage, but I'm not sure as I have only used performance tunes.

The performance tune makes the truck night and day. Shifting and throttle response are completely different. I don't know how much power I gained but you can tell it's there.

As for how much more MPG i'm getting I won't ever know. My driving style is not MPG friendly.

I have Allstate as well but never heard of the drive wise computer. You don't have to leave the tuner plugged in all the time. Only when you want to load a tune or look at gauges the tuner can read.

never say never. If things keep going the way they're going with the EPA and such, your next truck might have a solar panel on the roof
