Looking for a muffler with more sound!

You are going to get a lot of suggestions. I suggest browsing youtube for different mufflers on the 5.0 to start. It'll give you a good baseline of the differences in tone and volume.
I personally suggest a straight-thru muffler over a chambered muffler. They are much less prone to drone give a more consistent tone, independent of your particular exhaust set-up.
I went with the Borla ProXS, and deleted my resonator. $150 for the muffler, $100 for exhaust tubing, and a weld shop would probably do the install for another ~$150. Fairly louder than stock when you climb in RPMs, but has a nice low rumble when crawling through town or cruising on the highway. I went with dual side exit exhaust tips and it sounds great through tunnels. I may put an aftermarket resonator back on at some point to quiet it down a bit in the future.

Borla for me. awesome sound, but zero drone on the highway or around town. Love mine.
I on my 5.4 2006 I had a flowmaster 40 series, drone was crazy loud from 65-75 and around town in cruising RPM's I put a borla on that and it completly got rid of that, and personally I liked the Borla sound better.
On my 2011 6.2L I put a borla on and it is perfect. Its our family hauler too so long highway trips are very pleasant. But it sounds like a truck should as well. My father in law put a borla cat back on his chevy 5.3. Sounds amazing as well.

I have a magnaflow #14419 on my 2013 f150 5.0. It has a nice tone at idle and under acceleration it gets loud. I have no resonator and a Y pipe after the muffler to duels out the back. I always liked the sound of the Roush system. Mine has a very similar tone.
