I've owned & ran all of the above work trks with 5.0 coyote.........except a 14 (which I've heard are pretty bullet proof)....All have high mileages & continually give me good life, with reasonable maintenance with respectable fuel mileages...I tipically change vehicles around +400,000 km mark (250,000 miles)....my 11 I sold (cheap) last summer , succumed to rotten cab corners & rockers. But it ran/performed excellent @ 422,000 km's....As others have said get a window sticker from a dealer...It will list all options pertaining to your truck & even a suggested selling price !!....... or look @ the axle code on the door sticker....Google F150 axle codes & you should come up with your ratio....... 3.55 ratio is a pretty a normal everyday ratio & will give you fair pulling power & fuel mileage....3.73 will give you better pull power but dose affect fuel mileages.........Hope this helps!!.........Good Luck!!

Thank you much to both, Bob and maco.
bob, did you try the 3.5L TT or were you solely looking at V8’s? Just curious if you felt a difference in the neck snapping effect? I’m open to either engine, but coming to realize how important maintenance is on these rigs.

I did not try the turbo, just the V8's. My wife had a '85 Turbo T-Bird 2.7L? That snapped your head back and you could do power slides, but it only lasted 4 years so that left a poor taste in my mouth. The rear end went on it and the the turbo was loosing it's oomph. If I ever replace my '14 I'll test drive a turbo then. They should have it figured out by then. LOL. (Though the duel turbo kits for the Coyote have caught my eye.)
