Back some time ago I was asking around on the Forums about the badge lighting that puts a bright red glow around the Ford Logo on the tailgate.

I was talking to a friend of mine that drives a semi over the road.
He told me that he has seen them on big trucks.
So a couple of months later he told me about a company called
MCD Glow Tech.
Bingo!

Is it illuminated with running lights only or does it brighten with brakes also?

 

How does it wire in/install? Is it just the red LED ring that goes around the existing emblem or a whole new emblem?

 

The install is listed in the site. It looks like a long job for a cool look. Not sure if it's worth it....
