"B. Automatic Front Camera - The Lockpick can be configured to automatically display the video from
a front camera whenever the vehicle is traveling less than 7 mph. This is very convenient for parking
etc. To activate the automatic front camera option:
Press Voice button 3 seconds to activate
or turn off Lockpick Override functions.
Tap to toggle camera video inputs.
Press Hangup or Home button
3 seconds to activate or turn off
Camera functions.
Edge, Explorer, Flex, MKX, F150, Escape, Taurus1.) Connect a front camera and plug it into the Lockpick module in the Front camera video 1 input
location. Make sure the front camera is powered by the Lockpick using the Red/Black stripe 12 volt
power wire provided on the Lockpick harness.
2.) Place the vehicle into Drive and turn on the front camera manually, (press Hangup button for 3
seconds, toggle to the front camera with the Voice button).
3.) Next, press and hold the Voice button for 8 seconds.
The Lockpick will acknowledge the option setting with a beep. With the front camera option
enabled, the front camera video will display when the vehicle is travelling less than 7 mph, and then will
turn off automatically as the vehicle accelerates past 7 mph.
If you are stopped etc., and want to temporarily turn off the front camera view, press the
Hangup button for 3 seconds. This will return the screen to the standard radio view. The front camera
will remain off until the vehicle speeds up above 7 mph and then returns back below 7mph again.
To turn off the automatic front camera option completely, and return to standard Lockpick
operation, Repeat the activation process, (car in Drive, Front camera On, Press and hold Hangup
button for 8 seconds)
C. Automatic Turn Cameras - The Lockpick can be configured to automatically display video from side
mounted cameras whenever the corresponding turn signal is selected. To activate the automatic turn
signal option:
1.) Connect your turn signal cameras to the Lockpick module, left to the Video 1 input and right to the
video 2 input. Make sure that your cameras are powered by the Lockpick camera power outputs.
2.) Manually turn on one of the side cameras (press Hangup button for 3 seconds and toggle to the left
or right cam with the Voice Button).
3.) Next, turn on the vehicles’ turn signal. 4.) Press and hold the Voice button for 8 seconds. The
Lockpick will acknowledge the option with a beep.
With the turn signal option enabled, whenever a turn signal is used, the Lockpick will display
the camera video. It will return the screen to standard radio views when the turn signal is turned off.
To turn off the automatic turn signal camera option and return to standard Lockpick operation,
Repeat the activation process, (Camera manually activated, Turn signal On, Press and hold the Hangup
button for 8 seconds.
D. Automatic Rear Camera temporarily disabled - If you wish the factory or aftermarket Rear
Camera to stop displaying while the vehicle is in Reverse gear, the Lockpick makes that possible.
1.) Place the vehicle in Neutral Gear.
2.) Press and hold the Hangup button for 10 seconds.
The Lockpick will acknowledge with a beep. While this function is enabled, the rear camera will
no longer turn on while the vehicle is in Reverse gear. If you wish to return to standard rear cam
operation, Repeat the process, (vehicle in Neutral, press and hold Hangup button for 10 seconds).
E. Alternate Rear Camera - The Lockpick can be configured to display a different camera other than
the factory or aftermarket rear cam when the vehicle is placed in reverse. This function allows the user
to designate a different view while in reverse. For example, when the vehicle is pulling a large trailer,
the driver sees only the front of the trailer while in reverse. Instead, the user can mount a second
camera on the rear of the trailer and select it for automatic viewing while in reverse gear. To activate
the Alternate Rear Camera function:
1.) Place the vehicle in Reverse gear.
2.) Press and hold the Hangup button for 10 seconds.
The Lockpick will acknowledge with a beep and the screen view will change from the rear
camera view, to the camera video connected to the Video 2 (Aux) video input on the module. If you wish
to return to standard rear cam operation, Repeat the process, (vehicle in Reverse, press and hold
Hangup button for 10 seconds)."

Ok I'm at a loss I've tried everything and now I've messed it up and I can't even see my camera in reverse. I've tried putting it in neutral and holding it for 10 seconds and it does nothing but turn on the reverse camera.

Did you ever get it figured out? Im having the same problem with mine. I have had my lockpick installed since I got the truck, and now out of the blue I am getting the "Camera Unavailable" on the screen. Curious to know what the fix is.

Anyone have any issues with getting their SYNC FIM Lock Pick to work - or should I say, boot up? After upgrading my headlights, my brother attempted to install the Lock Pick spending 2.5 hours alone attempting to trouble shoot via youtube videos online, and the instructions provides without success.

The unit doesn't power on the radio or boot up... waited for this to happen and nothing. He then unplugged the Sync returning to factory connections and radio worked. The only changes attempted were the installation of the Sync FIM Lock Pick module.

I emailed customer support, but be it that it's Labor Day weekend, Im not expecting a response until Tuesday at the earliest.

Any input from the forum would be greatly appreciated!
