Default Lock/Unlock Question

Hi everyone and thanks for having me on the Forum. My question is how can i lock my truck while the keys are in the ignition and truck is on? I own a 2013 SCREW 5.0 2WD with keyless entry and would like to leave the truck running when i go inside a store but when i try to lock it while in park it automatically unlocks itself.
is there anyway to bypass this feature? Thanks for everyones help

Push the lock rod sticking out of the door panel down manually.

If you have the keypad on the driver door, hit both buttons at the same time on the very right and it will. Only the last 2 on the right. To unlock when you get back, input the code.

This is what I do. My aftermarket remote start wants me to push parking brakes, hit buttons and all other stuff - so I just hit the last two buttons as long as it is in view.

Nope just the drivers door, when you hit the lock on the fob all doors lock, but with key in ONLY the drivers door unlocks, push that rod down and done.

If you carry your spare key, you could lock it with the button on the 2nd key. I used to keep my spare in my coat pocket during the winter and hit the button on that one to unlock it until I got my remote start installed.

Right on. With the door closed, hit the 7/8 9/0 buttons at the same time.
