Ever since I instaled my sct livewire my truck has been on battery save mode once I turn truxk off so iv been turning off the livewire is that bad or is there an option menu im not seing thanks for your help.

 

How long have you had the Livewire? That was an issue awhile back but SCT released an firmware update that fixed it so the Livewire turns off when you shut down the truck.

Might need to just update the firmware on it ( put the truck back to stock OEM tune, download the SCT Updater program from www.sctflash.com tech tab ) and see if it needs updated.

My truck refused to leave this mode after I disconnected my battery for stereo upgrades on my now gone 2011 XLT. I tried everything I could find on the internet, and nothing worked. I had to take it to the dealer for them to reset it.

 

Iv had it for a few months and a few weeks ago I tried to update but it said eerything was up to date.i know its the live wire cause I just got back from vac a few days ago so the battery was charged and I let the truck sit one day and she is back to save mode . I hope I dont have to take it in. I guess il try updating it again
