Little help...What is this?
HI Folks,
Could someone tell me what that is? Before you start, I'm just a hack....but I know it isn't a "Finnegan Pin" or a "Transmogrifier". Ha! Not a big deal but it makes a loud ticking and I'm not sure if it is normal or needs replaced. 2013 F-150 3.5L Ecoboost. Thanks for the help!

i believe thats the evap solenoid. Its clicking is it opening and closing.
see here:
about 6:45 in, he calls it the charcoal canister purge valve. So confirmed, its the evaporative purge valve. It allows fumes from the gas tank/charcoal canister to vent into the engine to be burned.

Obviously it's not a Transmogrifier, those have the appearance of a cardboard box!
