Are those waterproof? Say for lauching a boat and they get submerged?

Straight from the website's FAQ page:

8. Does water affect the light?

Freshwater submerging is OK, but not recommended for sal****er submerging.

How far back do you back into a boat launch that your bumper gets submerged....sumptin wrong if you doing that...

All depends on the boat and the launch. I've had my hitch under water plenty of times while launching my boat and it's only 17.5'.

Here's some mirror shots and some outside the car, obviously the bright ones are with the lights on


I've buried this guy in the snow when backing into parking spots and it's been subjected to Chicago salted roads and still works perfect.
