Are our trucks prewired for them if they did not come with them? The ol lady keeps asking me about putting them in since I added them to my last truck.

Hopefully Mbullock can chime in as he's Added a lot of factory options to his STX, that it doesn't come with! Such as Heated mirrors, working ext. Temp. Display, and I believe the auto headlights!

Think I am going to get these if anyone can comment on the color. They don't look black but I could be mistaken.

Robert those appear to be Gray like in my XLT! Most dealers use Stock pics, and aren't as accurate as should be, if they say black and thats what you need! Id contact the Seller to verify, thats what you'll be getting!

It says they are from an FX4, so I would think they are black. Best thing is to email the seller to make sure. But I've been told that if it's on the internet it's true...

the STX is not prewired for visors. i've had mine out a half dozen times chasing a rattle.

Appreciate it. Ya, I figured it wasn't prewired. No problem wiring it up.

I added a lighted sunvisor to the driver side so I could have the garage remote on my 2012 fx2. It did not have the prewire, i had to run a wire to the constant hot in the center interior lights. Not hard at all.
