Default Lifting

I have a 2010 F150 lariat with the 5.4 V8 and i want to lift it but I'm wondering what kinda power am i going to lose since its only 2x4 and not 4x4. Anyone please help id really appreciate it.

That won't matter. All trucks are a 2x4 until they engage the front differential thus making it 4x4..which for most isn't very often.
You're going to loose power due to decreases aerodynamics and bigger tires.

But is it a substantial loss? Because the f150 stock already does not feel like it has a lot of power

Depends on size of lift and tires. I have a 4" lift and 35" tires and definitely feel it but the ecoboost has plenty of power. The 5.4 might be a different story.

I never owned a 5.4L so I can't tell you for sure, I'd recommend finding some old threads that discuss it. I can say because I have the 5.0L, my 6 inch and 35's didn't make it a total dog but it was noticeable
