Default Lifted Resale Value

I know you don't lift a truck for resale value, and I know that there isn't a KBB comparable database out there for lifted trucks. But I was wondering what you guys would expect to get back out of a $6k-7k lift/tire/wheel combo when selling?

$1500 max over what KBB says unless you can find someone who really wants what you've done already IMO

i have found with selling cars.. bikes.. trucks.. boats.. anything.. add ons are for YOU .. not the next guy.. if he likes it you have a bonus.. but you dont spend money on toys to recoupe it ...

general rule id say is about 25-30%

I feel anything done to take away from stock lowers the value.
From tinted windows to a lift.

13 projector lights in an 11 would add, for example, but they are from ford.

If you put two trucks side by side, stock vs. modified, people will go for and pay more for stock.
You never know what crazy wrench monkey messed up along the way.

How do you return to stock completely after cutting your diff bracket when installing the lift? Surely not weld it back?

Weld it back, why not?

I'm amazed at what people are willing to pay for The Black Ops truck. More than a Raptor. I know a guy that paid almost $70,000.

Wow, $71k is crazy. And only has 3.55 gears.

I'd be OK with lifting my 3.55 gears if only paying $6k over base. For $30k over base, it better have 4.88's.
