Just got my new 2012 F150 Fx4 last week... And I'm looking to put a lift kit on. As long as i get a lift kit of 6" or less, my Ford dealership said they will honor the factor warranty... But they require a "lift shield". Now that I'm home doing more research, i can't find what a lift shield is... Can any one help?

 

Skid plate? I would ask your dealer what they mean and get it in writing.
