the shackles are the same for both 4x2 and 4x4.

The Rancho Quick Lift for 2WD F150s is a different part number than the 4WD. So be sure to order the correct kit.

Left Part #: RS999936
Right Part #: RS999912

This is for the loaded kit with the complete assembly with springs.

When you go to get it aligned after installation, do you need any aftermarket alignment shims or anything?

No standard alignment procedures apply. No need for any aftermarket shims etc with the Rancho Leveling kits.
