Default Leveling FX2 without raising front

I want to level out my '13 FX2 without raising the front. Is there an easy way to drop the rear just a little like there is for the FX4? I looked at the pad that the leaf springs sit on and it looks welded to the axle tube, plus I don't think its a good idea for the leaf springs to sit directly on the axle tube. Has anyone ever done anything like this before?

drop shackle, you may or may not need a pinion shim. 2.5* will work.

Might want to ask around before you do this. Went to my local truck shop and they suggested not to. He said f150s get a bad driveline vibration when u drop the rear. They did one recently for the local dealership. Person who bought the truck had them take it back out. I want the same thing but I'm not going to live with a 20-30mph vibration. Google it it's out there let me know if u take the chance and what happens

That's weird. I was also just going to suggest a drop shackle.

They probably didn't put a shim in. Sometimes they're needed to get rid of the vibration.

OP, if you visit the lowered section of the forum, you will find countless people who have installed a 2" drop shackle. I do believe the most common are ground force. But talk to Tony there. DJM/BeltechDirect or something along those lines is his user name. He'll get you set up with what you need.

Here's mine with a 2 inch DJM drop shackle. I didn't install any shims and I have absolutely no problems after probably 10,000 miles with them.

Here's before with the butt sticking up in the air:

And here's after with the height from the ground to the arch of the fender the same for the front and rear:

Mine's a 4x4, but I don't think it should be any different for a 4x2.

I've got a 5-1/2 foot bed, and I think the shims might be more necessary with the longer beds/driveshafts.
