The level doesn't effect the mpg's, these trucks aren't a sports car, they're not aerodynamic in any way they sit. Mpg loss is all in the tires

 

Hey can I fit 35's with a two inch leveling I got 33's and it looks like they will fit well I already ordered them so someone please tell me they will

I dont buy any of that leveling doesnt affect MPH talk... it has on every truck I ever lifted... which is around 4 or 5 over the last 30 years. Yes tires make a bigger impact but lifting the nose of the truck increases the amount of air it must punch through. It also allows more air under the truck which acts like a paracute. If you drive under 45mph then maybe it is not negligable. if you drive on the interstate at 70 plus you will see a definate loss of MPG when you lift the nose. Why do you think Ford went through all the trouble to put that skirt way up under our trucks? They were trying to get it as low as possible for MPG reasons. No it isnt a race car but that is all the more reason the small details like that effect mileage.

Lift it if you like the look but expect it to get worse mileage...

I was planning on buying this very leveling kit, can I ask why you are getting rid of it?

 

When I added my 3" level I didn't see the slightest mpg change, even in the highway. Then I put my tires on an my mpg went to ****. Maybe I was just lucky though

 

I had a z71 and leveled it. Kept stock tires and mpg stayed the same. Aerodynamics may be worse but not enough to lower mpgs. Wind tires hills or maybe a fat *** in the truck will affect it..
