level kit questions!
Hi, guys. Got some questions on leveling kits. I have a 2011 xlt Eco screw. I have a 3" front leveling kit with 3" rear leveling blocks. I want to keep the stock look with the rear a little higher than the front. Thinking that these kits would just push the truck up 3". My rear has the stock 1" block. If I remove the 1" and replace it with the 3" that's means I'm only lifting the rear 2" from stock? And how will this look or tie into the 3" up front? If my front spacers are only 1 1\2" thick how does it lift the truck 3"? And final, any suggestions on tire size? Want to keep my stock 18" crome rims. Thanks.
First off if you are 4wd your stock RB is 1.25"...so a 3" rear block would net you 1.75" of lift in the back. 3" rear can cause driveline hum, if they are not tapered. Not on everyones trucks, but on some it does. We get calls about this all the time. 3" front spacers are NOT advisable. Geometry, suspension ball joints, none of it likes it, this is precisely why we make 2.0" and 2.5" spacers but not the 3". If you want to go to 3" IOHO you need to go into a Coilover that is designed to give 3" of lift. Leveling kits (spacers) don't measure at what they call out as their gained lift. Our 2.0" spacer gives 2.0" of lift but measure 1 3/8". Same goes with our 2.5" spacer, it measures 1 5/8". Chances are if your spacers are 1.5" in measurement, they will net a little less than 2.5" of lift. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your help sir. And it is 4wd. The front kit is from Precision European Motorwerks and they measures 1 3\4". I will return and go with the 2 1\2". The rear blocks are from Freedom Suspension. Just wanted some good advise. Have been watching a lot of install videos, but have not found anything on how everything works. Installs look pretty straightforward. Do have any suggestions on tire size? I have 275/65 r18 right now. All the pictures i have looked at look nice but what about rubbing?
