Yup, I'm gonna carpet the middle and then I'm going to use some flat black vinyl overlay on the ends that will cover some raised graphics

I can't take all the credit, my idea came from this thread. I'm sure mine will not come out as clean as this one, but it will be a good start

Yup, I've still got some clean up, but 1/2inch MDF using toggle bolts in preexisting holes and then cut the backing just for the amp. I had no issues on it fitting and the seat still functioning.

Fyi, they sell that speaker from Pioneer, in a tuned slim box on Amazon fit must over $100, and a Rockford Fosgate version from about the same. Plug and play, and the dimensions look like it would for under the seat and be nearly invisible, then you could stand it up out of the way if you needed to load something in the rear seat, and only lose a little but of space.

Thanks for the info on the wire length. That's very helpful.

Yeah, but bought of those boxes are 10's and mine is a 12

I looked at both those boxes and with the angle of the rear floor lip and the size, they stick out from the seat by about 1inch to 1 1/2. if you search around the net, there's a few pics of the pioneer in the floor of our trucks to confirm it. I didn't want anything sticking out and I've never built a sub box so, that was part of the fun

Yup, it's not finished as i think I'm gonna have to send my amp back for replacement (bad channel). but it almost exactly like the raptor amp install...or at least it will when it's cleaned up

It's a ugly mess at the moment but you get the idea. Do some searching on this forum there are some work of art installs on the back wall

That end cap looks good, nice idea on using the oem sub bracket to secure it as well!

You worried about heat melting the seat or being the cause of a fire?
