I pulled my toolBox back and put some foam on the front of the bed and slid the toolbox up tight intonit and the bar theybgove you has rubber that mounts flush to the toolbox to keep water out. And it unspans and rolls up which is greatvif you need your bed

Here's mine, it's an inside the bed box. I've had the regular and low profile type but went with this design and couldn't be happier. You can't see it unless you get right up on the bed and has an overall cleaner look IMO. It's made of steel instead of flimsy aluminum and powder coated gloss black. I can stand on the top of this thing (which I do everytime I wash the cab of the truck) and it doesn't even creek or bend at all and I weigh 225lbs.

I installed 2 tailgate latches and a tailgate handle so that I could lock and unlock it with my truck key and so that I only had one handle to unlatch both latches, works awesome!
