I'm following this as well and would do the same thing. Everything on my truck is led except the front turn signals.

Might want to check your math on that one. More like 2.6 inches.

almost ordered them but want to make sure a regular led will work properly 1st. I've got a tool box full of leds that didn't suit me for various reasons, I don't wish to add to the collection any more than I have to.

Same here, I've got a set of resistors I bought but have been hesitant to install them for the same reason.

I think if this works I am going to get some from diode dynamics. They appear to have some really nice American made LEDs

This may or may not be the case but I am going to state it anyway. I recommend that if you want the setting changes - just print the PDF out a posted and go to your dealership. I have seen posts like this before on a few forums and they seem to disappear. IMO there is a financial gain for the masses not knowing about this. How much $ would you make if you sold 4+ load resistors to .5% of 2011-2013 F150 Owners.

The document I posted was composed on Sept, 30, 2011.... That means that this setting has been public since then... Why have there been so many people using load resistors?

Would it help if I posted a video of my lights - no hyper flashing with no resistors installed?
