I'd like to install lights for my f 150 platinum edition when the running boards deploy down any suggestions

One question, do you have any lights there now? As in regular bulbs, that activate when a door is opened? If so, life will be pretty simple. Basically, get two LED bars, mount them on each side, and cut your plug off, so you have a ground & power wire, and plug in an LED bar to those.


I'm not very knowledgeable about the new trucks, just wiring sort of. So I figured I'd give it a shot!
