LED Resistor Tap In Location

It's 3 ohm per side from the turn signal wire to ground wire.
I really wish TRS made 3 ohm versions of their 6 ohm resistor as it's built much better and I shouldn't have any issues with the wiring like I have with the current ones (built with cheap, crappy wiring). I'll probably still spring for them, just have to do a little extra wiring but really no big deal.

I hear ya. I was looking at v-led resistors since they offer 3 Ohm, but they look the same as the eBay cheap ones. I messages their customer support as well, and they responded later this afternoon and confirmed 3 Ohm per side too. Have you tried to ask TRS if they plan on carrying a 3 Ohm?

No, I'll probably be calling/emailing them tomorrow as I have a package on the way from them anyways and I'll ask when I do and post the results here.
They're actually 5 ohms.

Make sure you test it with your truck running also. I purchased led tail lights off ebay (not just the bulbs but the whole housing set up) and got it to work with two 3ohm resistors on each side until I started the truck then they wouldnt work right. Its definately 1 3ohm resistor per side.
