I have installed LED headlights and tail lights no problems. No I installed a light bar and when I turn on the left blinker and brake lights it goes fast. I turn on the right blinker and brake no problem, but add the reverse lights and the right blinker blinks fast. I started with trying to install to the trailer lights same problem now everything is straight wired into the actual lights. More info the LED bar comes with a L,R,Backup, and brake wire. My truck does not have an independent brake power supply. I did not hook up the brake wire everything works fine besides the fast blinking. I have read many forums and I have found out I should replace the flasher, solder resisters, or I should get converters. Has anyone experienced this? I did wire everything directly to the truck lights.

 

If you wired them parallel to the lights the resistance will go down, if so, I suggest you install them in series with each light; that may take of the problem all along.

 

You have to add a power resistor in parallel to the lights, 1 each side.

The resistors need to be power ones, barrel shaped as the best. The calculation for wattage rating is 144/R value. (V squared over R). If R is 3, P = 50W. 75W 3 ohm would be better, my 60W ones are actually a bit brown and do get warm.
