I used the bottom two holes. The light is recessed in about a half inch from the bumper pads. My truck did not come with a front license plate bracket so there were no bolts in the existing holes. All I had to do was a very minor amout of drilling in the existing holes so that the bolts would fit.

Thats what has been holding me back from doing this. It looks like it would block most of the air. Hopefully someone with an EB will chime in.

For the Ecoboost there is room for the light bars behind the grill. A 30" light bar fits perfectly between the grill supports.

Depending on grill.

I bought a 30" initially to do the grill but I have the 3 bar and where it fits perfectly the Ford emblem is in the way and would block most of the light. I didn't want to fab brackets to go higher sold returned it to get a 20" for the intake part in the bumper. Downside is I had to buy offset plate holder because I need front plate in Va.

I put a curved SR 30" in the upper opening, turned out nice.

I have an Eco, that's why I went this route.

That setup looks nice. Do you have a link for the light bar? Also, do you have a link to the install?

Default Grill

I have that grill, hence the interest. Not crazy about the blandness of the middle bars so I'm going to attempt to plasti-dip the middle of the middle bars white to match my truck. Before I bought this truck I saw a listing for inserts for the two middle bars. Can't find the listing anymore to save my life.

^^Yes I have the same grill, and that's exactly how I did mine. I never even considered it not fitting a different grill..lol
