LED bulbs
i used sealight bulbs from amazon in my 2012 and was happy with them but dont hold a candle to the projector retrofits I have now
and no, they dont blind people when clocked correctly in the housing. I tried em out against my dad sitting in his car at the end of the road and driving past him, never got flashed etc

SuperNova V3 from Headlight Revolution back in 2017. Very clean cuttoff and still shining bright. I adjusted them 2 inches lower than specified when aiming. I prefer the LED bulb in a reflector housing over the HID in projector housings because of the wider beam to the sides. Projectors are great for distance. The LED cost is low but good electronics that last and work well cost much more, most early LED failure involves the driver electronics. Buy wisely! KM
The consensus online is that they aren't a good idea unless you spend several hundred dollars to replace everything. Not just the bulbs. The standard headlights on my 2007 Tacoma are 10X better than the factory headlights on my 2014 F150. When we bought a 2020 Explorer with LED's I had to do something. and tried a $70 set of bulbs from Amazon.
No, they aren't as good as the lights on the Explorer but are a significant improvement. They don't send the light any farther down the road, but the light is whiter, and I can see a lot better. Properly installed and aimed they don't blind oncoming traffic.

AdJustments may be needed - many folks don't realize
Mine came with no instructions
But needed the collar adjusted via a very tiny set screw
I ended up - upside down the first adjustment
Then turned it 180 degrees to get em perfect
The leds should be vertical - not slanted or horizonal
I think some of these guys that blind you have not done the proper adjustments
Or installed a leveling kit on the truck without adjusting the headlights
I curse those dudes!

Yes, make sure the LED elements are facing 3 and 9 o'clock not 6 and 12. It's a good idea to adjust down a bit since the cutoff won't be super sharp like a projector's. Using GTR Ultra 2 bulbs here. Excellent bulbs.
Raptorretrofit projectors blacked out interior and HID 55w Moros absolutely wonderful, terribly expensive. But i have no issues driving whenever whereever i want and that is priceless. D2s cubes foggers in my hammerhead bumper, dont get flashed. Keep your lights down. Youll still be able to see
