What brand 3rd brake light replacement are you guys using? I want to complete my led brake lights and this is the only one I have left. I have a recon extreme scanning led light bar under the tailgate and smoked led tail lights by spyder, looking for the best smoked 3rd led tail and just wondering what you guys have and how you like it, what brand is the best or if any of you have any issues with the one you have, thanks.

I have the Recon one, have had it for a litttle over a year with no problems. The only thing i didn't like was that it had to be wired in, not plug and play. On the up side, loooks good and bright

Recon...plug and play...replaced Cargo bulds with LED...2 year no problems

i just put led bulbs in my cargo/3rd brake light. been in there for almost a year now.

Despite what's advertised though it is NOT direct-fit / no cutting required. Like the others, it needs to be spliced-in -OR- a connector that plugs into the existing bulb socket fabricated (what I opted to do).

Based on what I read on the Recon website, the connector is proprietary and Ford will not license anyone else to use it... therefore splicing is required.

It's only three wires, I don't remember seeing a plug on the factory light, but I didn't really look either
