Default Leadframe replaced, not shifting past 3rd.

2014 F150 with 265,000 miles. Transmission was rebuild by professional shop at 165,000. I recently started getting erratic shifting and hard shifts into 4th. Then limp mode as the problem persisted. Removed valve body, and replaced valve body with new lead frame, filter and fluid. Filled up and ran unit and checked fluid. Fluid levels are good, but I am still getting erratic shifting and won’t shift past 3rd. Checked all fuses in line with the TCM. I suspect the TCM needs to be replaced. I have reset it and the vehicle will act normal and then attempt to shift into 4th but go limp. I was getting a p0765. But after filling fluid to proper level, this code went away. HELP!!!

If you put in a new valve body along with the lead frame, you need to program the PCM with the new solenoid shift strategy.
The original strategy is on a tag on the outside of the transmission I think.
My understanding is a new valve body will have that tag on the new valve body.

This is helpful, thank you. I feel as though it has been a control module issue from the get go. Harsh shifting and then it became erratic. I believe the transmission control module of this truck is on the passenger side floorboard, correct? This one unit controls engine and transmission?

The passenger side one is the BCM body control module.
I believe the PCM power control module is in the firewall under the hood one the passenger side.
The programing would be done at a dealer or using Forscan through the on board dianostics port. OBD port.
