can this screen, the lcd productivity screen, be put into a 2010 without it?

im looking at a 2010 with the 5.4 and want to know if the screen was controlled by a module that could be swapped into the 2010?

i know you would have to buy a new steering wheel with the controls,

anyone done it?

I think that would be a big project. I think there is more to it than the control buttons on the wheel. Have you looked at one at the dealer?

 

I don't have a link, but I'm fairly certain this was attempted or at least looked into when the 2011's came out. Short answer, not possible. Sorry.

 

ya that is what i figured would be the case, what year is your truck sporttracto? i dont see any difference between the 2009 and 2011s other than motors, im going to be mainly driving highway so i was looking at a 5.4 and then was going to do a procharger kit, that way i got more power. i cant really find much on autotrader but im going to keep looking, im looking for an fx4...the only difference i see is the screen and a few minor details but not much.
