Late Model F150 Online Owner Surveys
We see a lot of complaints on this forum, and that is natural. Broken this, poor service that. It would be easy to get a skewed picture of the No.1 selling vehicle in North America just by hanging out here.
In an effort to get a less skewed idea of how customers view their F150's I have started to look for online surveys... here is one:
http://www.truedelta.com/Ford-F-150/lemon-odds-87
The survey paints a picture that seems honest enough, but I am not sure how large the sampling is. And, that is important.
This survey seems to have good depth and an engine that can visualize the database in diffrent ways to make it useful. For example: http://www.truedelta.com/Ford-F-150/owner-reviews-87 and http://www.truedelta.com/Ford-F-150/mpg-87/2011
There are 88750 participants in the TrueDelta surveys, and the F150 forms but a small part of that distribution. But, we could use that system to talk about our trucks' reliability in a quantifiable manner and in so doing make an important contribution to the survey itself. And, that could be useful.
Of course, we could set up our own survey here, but we would be polling the vocal sociopath section of ownership and only talking to ourselves.
Anyway, contributions to this thread are sought. I want to see what the ownership world thinks of our trucks via survey, and not just through their wallets.
Disclaimer: I do not have knowledge of the veracity of the score results at TrueDelta. I do not now if the results are skewed by online commercial trolls.
