Wink Lariat options differances between the '12 and '13 models

I was just looking at the sales brochures for the 2012 and 2013 F150's. I have them as PDF's. Because I have a Lariat, I was curious to see what the differences in options were between the Lariat from '12 -'13.

The 6.2: in '12 required it was a Super crew, and with the Max Tow package.
In '13 it required either the 501A or 502A package.

Electronic Locking axle: - in '12 it required a 5.0 or the Ecoboost. In '13 it was available.

Lariat "Plus Package": - in '12 had the 6-disc CD player, garage door opener, reverse sensing, rear camera, powerfold mirrors, remote start.
In '13 it became the 501A package. The 6-disc changer was removed and the Trailer Brake controller was added.

Off Road package: - The differences were, in '12 it was not available with the 6.2, had the 3.73 E-lock axle.
In '13 it required either the 501A or 502A package, had a 3.55 E-lock axle, and Hill descent control.

That was a quick comparison and sure there is more, but that was all the further I researched. Gotta go wrap some gifts........

13 made HID's available for Lariat. Not sure what package you need to get them though

502a

Also, one point of clarification on the '13 Off Road package... it does not force the 3.55 rear axle. You can have max-tow/e-locker with the Off Road and have a 3.73 rear.

Wink

In that combination that probably is true. But if you get just the Off Road package without the Max Tow the brochure implies that's what you get. Of course, these things are printed way in advance and I'm sure things change a bit before the new models are actually available at the dealers.
