Default KYB shocks and struts

I have a 2013 Screw. I was looking at new shocks and struts. I currently have stock suspension, no level kit. I see KYB has a rebate going on right now. Does anyone have experience with the KYB strut plus for the F150? KYB shocks? Also, I see KYB just strated offering a Strut-plus levelling strut, anyone have any feed back on those? They all seem like a fairly decent price on Rockauto and the rebate is looking good also.

I had KYB on another truck. They were good but they were a notch above stock, in my opinion.
They worked well, but were basically a stock replacement but a little better.
Not like you'd get from a Rancho shock or Fox, etc.
I had a heavier duty one just to help with the heavier tire/wheel that was installed over the stock tire/wheel combination.
I'd run them again if I was after comfort and stock replacement but if they cost the same as the competition I may reconsider.

I just replaced front and rear on my '13 screw this weekend. I went with the KYB SRG4171 front spring/strut with new springs and the matching rears. There is also a SR4171 front spring/strut. I asked KYB directly and they said the SRG is a monotube shock which is a little better performer than the twin tube SR which is their oem replacement. So far the truck is much better. I had 123000 miles so the OEMs where probably pretty shot. The truck feels planted, a little firmer than stock but soaks up square edge chop like potholes much better. Took it off road last night briefly and it really felt good on washboard dirt road. Its my daily driver, not off road too often so I wanted a good highway ride. So far I am very pleased, especially for the price from Rock Auto and the rebate.

Hope this helps.

We tried these, granted they were work trucks(F-250), but they were garbage. The stock shocks were better and lasted longer.

I can say I do like the KYB gas-adjust, as I am on my second set on my 08 sierra RCSB. They have a firm ride and none to little body sway, I liked it but each has their own opinion.
