KM's or Miles to empty
Hello,
Haven't seen a thread for this so thought I would start one. I am wondering when you fill up what your km/miles to empty read and what are you actually getting on trip meter per tank on the 136litre/30 gallon tanks.
I will start it off
750 km's
3500 km's on truck now

I have a 2010 STX with 4.6 2V and mine reads that I have 465 to empty but I usually get about 420. It's pretty accurate I think because after you start driving it calculates in your current MPGs and the number will change a little.

Mine always shows around 925km to empty. The most km I put on a tank was just shy of 800, and it took 116L to fill it. My gas light came on at this point, which I thought was strange when I still had almost 20L left and 120km to empty.

2009 xlt scab 4x4 5.4
999 to empty
800 km on 3/4 of a tank mixed driving
87k on it
I go fillup at 1/4 tank left because that is when the pump stops . LOL
Best i have seen is 1100 km almost all highway the light was not on yet.

Mine read 912km to empty this week mostly due to a few highway trips I had taken in the tank before and the nicer weather we've been getting in ON. Best was 999km last summer on a trip from Ontario to New Brunswick approx 13hrs of highway driving on one tank. I think it was 1043km when we arrived. Average around 850km in summer and 700km in winter. 2010 Lariat 4x4 5.4L.

535 miles DTE miles but I often exceed this in actual driving. I put almost 600 miles on one 26 gallon tankfull last fall. My average MPG with no towing is 21.5mpg. This was during the first 11,000 miles then I began towing sleds this winter. 11mpg towing milage brought the average down quickly. It is now 19.4 at 28K miles with 3K miles towing. The warm weather and with the truck completely broken-in I can get 23 to 24mpg on a long trip driving 50mph on rural roads. Highway at 70mph is maybe 20mpg so I stay off the highway if possible. I also stay off the throttle and I have forgotton how quick the Ecoboost is. It did a great job towing my 8K lb. trailer.

2010 Screw 4x4 5.4L 15,000 kms. It usually says between 800-850 kms DTE. My best to date is 650kms out of a tank of fuel. I filled up and put 131 litres back in. That is the best of regular everyday driving. I do ALOT of in town, short distance, stop and go driving. I haven't driven over 70-75 k.p.h. in months. My house is 9kms away from work, but I can stop 2 if not 3 times on my way home. Picking up my boys at 2 different locations and maybe even the grocery store. I try to leave the engine running if I'm going to be less than 2 minutes but schools don't like that. My best ever kms per tank was 875kms when we did a road trip to Alberta. I love the truck but it has the fuel economy of a tank. I think somethings wrong but 2 different dealers tell me it's just the type of driving I do. They won't even scan or reflash the truck saying the engine won't be fully broken in till 30,000kms so it would be pointless to do it before then. I beg to differ.

Someone on here was saying to do it 2-3 times at once.. Not sure if it will help.
How about anyone with 11 or 12 5.0 supercrew for km or miles per tank?
