I just bought a kicker set and had the sub installed, and it hits Harder than my factory Sony 8". I was told byyou installer, that I wouldn't notice a difference if I install the door speakers because I have the 8" navigation radio, and it doesn't push a lot of watts. He said to make it louder, I would have to install a clean Slate, and amp. The Clean Slate would bypass my radio in my dash, that way a better amp would push my door speakers.
