Default Keyless entry remotes not working


  • Hello I have been having an issue on my 2012 f150 FX4 eco boost with my keyless entry remote's both remotes have stopped working at the exact same time neither remote start unlock lock or panic will not work on either remote I reprogrammed both of them change the batteries and still nothing If anybody has some helpful information that would be greatly appreciated thank you and have a great day

dealership visit required. lol something in the truck stopped working.

Start with a simple check for blown fuses. Do you have any other issues right now?

My back up hazard sensors stopped working and it won't allow me to turn it on

You could have a module that's on it's way out, possibly the BCM since IRC it controls both those functions. I'd try to get a good scanner hooked up to it for faults. Forscan would be excellent for this and you can do it at home.

1st thing I would do is disconnect the battery negative cable (-) for no less than 15 mins, turn the ignition key on to dissipate any stray voltages.
