I've been a fan of that blue ever since it came out and I told myself one day, I'm going to have one! Then all the things aligned in the universe (which basically means the little lady said to get it) and boom! It's a weight off of my shoulders because I drive alot for work. Now, ladies and gents, let's start a list of your favorite mods! I'm gna black this thing out soon, but I don't know too much about these newer trucks yet. I'll be researching alot like I did for my 04

If your going four blacked out theme you might want to start by picking up some night shade to paint the reflectors on the front side of your side mirrors. You can also use on your third brake light. Than you should look at raptor/fx headlights and tail lights, or if you have the cash to spend look up oem HIDs. Than get some black Plasti dip and do your handles. I think another guy used the anthracite Plasti dip to do his bumpers and rocker panels to get rid of the chrome and give his truck a two toned fx4 look. The grill is going to be a tough one.

Yeah I've been considering the plastidip. Eventually I'm going to be getting full replacements since I'm sure Im gna need them for these san antonio drivers and my ranch work. I've done my tail lights with nightshade before, but I like the ones with the black housing and not this chrome one. Headlights are gna be a must, and I'd love to get oem hid. Are they plug and play, or am I gna have to be splicing wires in?

I have the mods listed in my signature. It is by no means a race car, but it still hauls butt when you mash the pedal. I haven't done an exhaust upgrade, as I like the quietness when towing. Getting old I guess. After coming from a modded F250 diesel, I welcome the the quiet and car like ride of my F150. My next projects are a 2" leveling kit; and air bags on the rear for towing/stability. The kits, along with alignment camber/caster one, are in the garage awaiting their install. I hope to get them done in the next couple of days. They were an early birthday present to myself.

Thats awesome! the only things i really tow are a flatbed and a welding rig at times, so nothing to crazy, until I start moving back to the coast. I do like the quietness, as you have stated, but I want a little roar and some proper flow. So i'm going to basically start like Idid with my 04. A cai and custom tune, then get all my audio transferred over from my old truck. Eventually I'll invest in some Fuel rims, I'm really digging those

Exhaust is not entirely out of the question. Black rims and "one up" tires are on the short list for future upgrades. If I could sell my factory chromes and tires, they would be my next mod.

Yeah the raptor tails are the ones with the black in them that I was talking about. I would night shade the tail lights just the third brake light up top. HIDs are a must in my opinion if you can afford them. I just got mine and love them. I would go OEM from either projector retrofit or raptor retrofit. Raptor offers a two year warranty and they are completely plug and play. If you get the raptor tail lights make sure you paint that outside edge black there is a thread on here on how to do it. It's kind of a pain but worth it.
