Ditto.

LOL! Yep - install is pretty straight fwd. Shame on Ford for not already having this on our large doors. But these 3.0 "just right" detents are....well.... just right! Great mod!

Just ordered mine. This will be a major improvement, especially for my 5-year old son.

I put a set on last week. We took my old ones & converted them with a dremel & put them on my son's truck. Work great, wish he would split the cost with me

OK, received the new detents today and installed them. Took about 30 minutes total, even with my giant paws. The driver-side access plug gave me the most trouble-it was hard to fit back in. The passenger side went smooth. Maybe I got lucky?

The new, middle detent is going to be a great thing to have. Even my wife was impressed, and she usually rolls her eyes at my "mods."

Yesterday while parking I noticed this same issue with my 09 F150. Can you post up pics of your mod?

This a mod a guy on this forum did. You don't need a pic. It is the door detent piece that stops your door. Go out and look at yours. In between the two detent is a third so the door won't swing out as far. Google door detent 3.0. He has a website but I don't remember the name. I have them and they work great.
